Former Minister Shah Distributes 150 Kgs of Dates

Former Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives of the Government of Nepal and influential CPN-UML leader, Akbal Ahmad Shah, has distributed 1 quintal 50 kilos of dates on the occasion of the 1500th birth anniversary of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), also known as Moulud-un-Nabi (Muhammad Day).

Known for his active role in promoting religious harmony and social service, former Minister Shah visited different parts of Kapilvastu to distribute dates to devotees. Among them, 50 kilos were distributed in Chandraputa, 60 kilos in Bijaynagar Rural Municipality, 30 kilos in Krishnanagar Municipality, and 10 kilos in Shivraj Municipality–3, Kharendrapur.
On the occasion, Shah conveyed his best wishes to the Muslim community, saying, “Everyone should follow the path of peace, harmony, and humanity shown by Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).” He also participated in the grand rally organized for Muhammad Day, where he personally distributed dates to the participants.
Local residents were highly impressed by his social contribution. Those who received the dates remarked, “Shah always stands for society and supports us in times of both joy and hardship.”
According to local intellectuals, former Minister Shah has always dedicated his public life to religion, culture, and social service.
